A Cape Coral man was arrested after threatening a salesman with a gun, according to police reports.
Kenneth Edward Wilson, 61, was arrested on a charge of using a firearm under the influence of alcohol, reports show.
Trevor Smith, a salesman with Apex Security, told police he was selling alarm systems door-to-door in the Southwest 2nd Avenue area when Wilson started acting confrontational, according to reports.
Smith said he left Wilson’s home but Wilson followed him down the street, reports show. At one point, Smith said Wilson displayed a gun and said “I will blow a hole in you.” That prompted Smith to call 911, he said.
When police arrived, Wilson handed over a .38-caliber Smith and Wesson revolver, reports show. Officers reported they could smell alcohol on Wilson’s breathe, but that he refused to take a breathe test.
